Hello, Ryan here. I'm going to try not to fangirl too much during this post and fail miserably. Appologies in advance.
Yesterday I went to Thornbridge Brewery to brew a crisp festival beer with them and it was probably the coolest day at work anyone's ever had. On top of brewing with beer royalty, they showed me around the Union kit which if you've read much of our socials, you'll know how obsessed with it I am, they showed me around the Thornbridge estate which is just nuts and incredibly beautiful, showed off the history of the place, showed me around their beer laboratory, the barrel ageing programme... it was an absolute honour to be there. Definitely one of the better days at work I've had 👌
Anyway, the beer! We brewed a 4.2% Red IPA, hopped with Cascade, Chinook and Columbus. It's called "Packet In" and the pumpclips in the shape of a crisp packet, it'll be ready and on the bar for October 2nd when the Huddersfield International Crisp Festival kicks off and it's going to be awesome.
