This Thursday at The Spa Pub, Hockley, we’re coming together to raise money for Smiley Riley, who has Type 1 SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)

Apparently, it’s good luck to stroke a beard today—especially if it belongs to a member of staff at The Spa! 🍀

Please ask permission first, though. A consensual beard stroke brings good fortune… an unexpected beard grab brings seven years of warm b**r and being starred at by a furious hairy man. 😂🍺

So come down, raise a pint and show some appreciation for the magnificent facial furniture among us!

It’s time to discover whether you’re the next darts champion… or simply very good at putting little holes in the wall. 😂

If you’d like more details, come down to The Spa before then and speak to Big Dean the landlord.
Bring your darts, get some practice in and enjoy a pint while you’re at it. Although after the third pint, your doubles may become considerably harder to find! 🍺🎯

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day – 28th August 🐾🌈

Today we remember the pets who came into our lives, asked for so little, and somehow gave us so much.
The ones who greeted us at the door, curled up beside us, made us laugh, and quietly became part of the family. Their time with us may never feel long enough, but the love and memories they leave behind last a lifetime.

For every much-loved companion waiting somewhere beyond the Rainbow Bridge…
