Here she is… Charlotte’s back in the garden this Saturday! ☀️🎶 If the weather’s anything like it’s meant to be, we’ll be outside all afternoon with cold beers flowing, spritzes and slushies at the ready, BLC burgers and Dirty Dough pizzas coming out hot, and Charlotte providing the soundtrack from 3pm to 8pm.

THIS SATURDAY….The forecast? Good tunes, cold drinks and a garden full of lovely people. ☀️ Join us this Saturday as DJ Charlotte takes over the garden between 3PM-8PM, bringing the perfect soundtrack to your afternoon.

Grab a spritz, an ice-cold pint or a frozen slushie, tuck into a Neapolitan pizza from Dirty Dough or a burger from Bun Lovin’ Criminals, and make the most of summer while it’s here.

This Saturday… summer sounds pretty good at The Vic. ☀️We’re kicking off the weekend with Garden DJs Rob Hague & Malc P, bringing the chilled summer soundtrack from 3PM to 8PM. Add in cold pints, spritzes, slushies, authentic Neapolitan pizzas, Bun Lovin’ Criminals burgers and a bit of sunshine… what more do you need?

And with the summer holidays now here, we’ve extended our OPENING HOURS to make The Vic even easier to enjoy.

Think long lunches with the family, pizza after the park, afternoon drinks in the garden, dinner with friends or a date night over great food.

TODAY: Primary schools finish, so our Dirty Dough Pizza hatch is open from 12PM! Come and treat the kids to a pizza and slushy in the sunshine. The perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year! Heading to the park? Grab it as a takeaway and enjoy it on the go. 🌳🍕

TOMORROW: It’s the secondary schools’ turn! The hatch is open from 12PM again, and our Kids Pizza & Slushy for £12 offer is still running.

Well, today wraps up the World Cup… and what a ride it’s been! ⚽🍻 Swipe through to see some highlights 👈🏽

England did us proud, and you lot have absolutely shown up too. Packed pub, buzzing garden, pints flowing, late night kick offs, sunshine, brilliant atmosphere, the Vic team smashing it… and all of you making it what it was.

We couldn’t be prouder of this pub and the amazing community that fills it every match day. ❤️

So that’s a wrap on VICFEST 2026 🙌🏽 Three days of music, sunshine, food, dancing and of course… plenty of booze 🍻☀️

A huge thank you to everyone that came down, supported it, donated to our charities and enjoyed themselves across the weekend. And of course to all of our incredible performers who absolutely smashed it from start to finish 🙏

A massive shout out as well to the whole VIC team… setting up, working behind the bars, in the kitchen, by the hatch, serving food, collecting glasses, helping to clear up and running around all weekend in the bank holiday heat 🔥 It was HOT HOT HOT… but you absolutely smashed it. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you ❤️🙌🏽

Huge love for all that came out yesterday. smashed it and although it was boiling, got people on their feet and dancing.
The were amazing, they brought the energy and definitely got the crowd involved.

RIGHT… onto the 3rd and final day.

Well… that was fun 🍻☀️🔥
What a perfect first day of VICFEST… sunshine, cold pints, burgers, pizzas, dancing, singing and a garden absolutely full of good people enjoying themselves in our little corner of Hitchin 🙌🏽

A huge thank you to everyone that joined us, and for bringing the tunes all afternoon, for closing day one on a high, and of course our incredible team working flat out behind the scenes (in that heat)… honestly, what would we do without you ❤️

DAY TWO is nearly GO…

Unfortunately we’ve had a last minute cancellation from Artificial Monkeys due to sickness… BUT fear not, the brilliant are stepping in to close Sunday night 🔥 Expect high energy and big fun. Pop ballads and classics turned into punk rock fun… singalongs, loads of energy and the perfect way to finish a bank holiday Sunday. 🙌🏽
