This week marks a whole year of Folk, Blues & Beyond!

Every Thursday Jason McNiff has treated us to an evening of music, and lined up a truly talented array of special guests throughout the year. A big thank you to Jason for organising this musical evening at the Cove, and to Matt Armstrong who is usually by his side on the double bass!

Jason has queued up yet another great season of special guests to see us through the Autumn. Join us any Thursday from 7pm for music, food, drinks, and meet your friendly fellow music-lovers.

Oktoberfest approaches, so alongside our staple German b**rs Rothaus & Oechsner, from this Friday we'll have some specials inspired by the traditional Fest. is a specialist l***r brewery in East London. We've lined up their award-winning traditional Munich Helles, made with German Noble Hops. Closer to home, Zwickl Keller L***r, made with spelt & rye for a sweet, nutty, rustic Kellerbier. On the alcohol-free front we've got the best bottles from . We're throwing an OktoberFest party this Friday, when we'll have Bratwurst and Pretzels, Hammerschlagen, and live music from . OktoberFest! Quite why it starts in September, we have not yet deduced. But we have learned that it's about much more than just b**r drinking.

We are taking the liberty of celebrating in Fairlight, with a Friday night “Volksfest” on 18th September. For the all important Folk element, we've got music from dynamic duo Seel & Saunders. There will be games, bratwurst, pretzels, and of course some proper Helles 🍻
