Two performances, one lovely Sunday at Barnaby’s. 🎶

Rebecca Mason, joined by Alistar Franklin on bass and John Harriman on piano, brings an intimate afternoon of live jazz.

🎸 4:30pm – The Hippy Soul Sound
Original soul, powerful vocals and feel-good grooves, with a soulful mix of jazz, blues and reggae led by Gail Edmunds.

🍽️ Food served from 12 noon.

FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER

🎶 Terrarium Jazz Sextet | 8.30–10.30pm
Led by saxophonist Jo Stout, this six-piece brings original compositions, deep grooves and inventive contemporary jazz. Featuring Jo Stout and Rob Leake on saxophones, Tom Millar on piano, Stuart Jackaman on guitar, Terry Pack on bass and Tony Shepherd on drums.
🎟️ £10 on the door.

SUNDAY 1 NOVEMBER

🎹 Rebecca Mason Jazz Trio | 1.30–3.30pm
Rebecca is joined by bassist Alistar Franklin and acclaimed pianist John Harriman for an intimate afternoon of live jazz.

🎸 The Hippy Soul Sound | 4.30–6.30pm
Gail Edmunds brings soulful vocals and feel-good grooves, blending soul, reggae, blues and jazz. Catch the spirit of their Fire In Your Soul EP live! 💛

Hastings, your Friday night plans have found their rhythm. 🎷

On Friday 30 October, Terrarium-Jazz Sextet takes the stage at Barnaby’s Lounge with original compositions, intricate rhythms and contemporary jazz that leaves plenty of room for spontaneity.

Led by saxophonist Jo Stout, whose project was selected to perform at Love Supreme Jazz Festival, this six-piece brings together two saxophones, piano, guitar, bass and drums for an evening of bold interplay, deep grooves and thrilling musical conversation.

Two exceptional jazz guitarists bringing melodic improvisation and distinctive musicianship together. Stowell is an internationally acclaimed guitarist, while Remon is a leading voice on the UK jazz scene.

🎤 8pm | Si Connelly – Walking Tour Launch Night
An independent singer-songwriter with support from BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, setting off on a remarkable tour on foot, guitar and backpack in tow. One for lovers of music with a story to tell.

🎙️ 11pm | Friday Karaoke
Your favourite songs, familiar faces and the occasional unexpected star of the show. The microphone is waiting.
