Meet the Brunch Punch. 🍊🍸 Our newest drinks special has landed.

Inspired by the classic Breakfast Martini, we’ve given it a distinctly Starling (and Yorkshire!) twist.

Made with Whittaker’s Yorkshire Gin, infused with English Breakfast Tea and washed with oat milk, then mixed with Orange Armagnac, marmalade, lime juice and orange bitters.

It’s citrusy, smooth, refreshing and just a little bit different.

Despite the name, there are absolutely no rules about when you can drink one.

Brunch? Obviously. Afternoon drinks? Absolutely. Saturday night? We’re not here to judge.

On Thursday 17th September, we’re joined by the experts from Compass Box for a relaxed evening of exceptional whisky, good food and plenty of stories behind the drams.

You’ll taste your way through six Compass Box whiskies — four from their core range alongside two exciting new releases, including the limited and highly sought-after Hedonism 2026.

And we’re not sending you into six whiskies unprepared… a Starling deli sharing board for each table is included in your ticket too.

🔨 There’s Simon, who’s been building Starling as an independent Harrogate business since 2017.

🍕 There’s Adam, our Head Chef, and his kitchen team, hand-stretching the dough, choosing the ingredients and making every pizza fresh to order.

🎩 There’s Dan, our GM, and the incredible team out front who know our regulars, remember what you drink and somehow keep the place running smoothly when it’s absolutely heaving.

That’s the difference when you choose an independent ✨

Our pizzas aren’t coming off a production line. They’re hand-stretched, made with quality ingredients and prepared by a kitchen team that deeply cares about what goes out.

Six whiskies. Two brand-new releases. One very special bottle. 🥃

On 17th September, we’re welcoming the experts from Compass Box to Starling for an evening dedicated to seriously good Scotch whisky.

You’ll be guided through six Compass Box whiskies, including four from their core range and two exciting new releases.

And one of those is a bit special…

🥃 Hedonism 2026 — a very limited and highly sought-after release that you’ll get the chance to try as part of the tasting.

You don’t need to be a whisky expert to come along. The evening will be relaxed and accessible, with the Compass Box team sharing the flavours, stories and craft behind each dram as you work your way through the line-up.

And because six whiskies on an empty stomach would be questionable even by our standards, your ticket also includes a Starling deli sharing board for your table.

If you already love whisky, there are some genuinely exciting bottles to discover. If you’re newer to it, this is a brilliant way to find out what you actually like.

Dan’s Questionable Quiz is back this Sunday from 7:30pm, bringing the usual mix of questions you definitely know the answer to, questions you absolutely don’t, and at least one that’ll cause an argument at your table.

It’s £1 per person to enter, and this year the money raised from the quiz is going to CAPTURE, helping support their work in epilepsy research. ❤️

There’s also a £30 Starling voucher up for grabs for the winning team.
