For all of those that have been asking, we have just received the following:

Anthony Warren’s Funeral Arrangements
Time and Place

Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, Stanley
https://www.mountsettcrem.co.uk/

The Wake
The wake will be held after the funeral at the Black Bull in Haltwhistle. This is about an hour’s drive from the funeral so we expect to be arriving from 14:00 onwards

Accomodation
We have rented the Grey Bull from the 28th to the 1st. It is a former 19th century coaching inn and has 9 rooms each with its own bathroom. It is open to anyone wanting to spend the night there, before or after the funeral. We hope this makes the lives of those travelling to the funeral easier. If you are interested in staying, please get in contact with Noel at via email: [email protected]
https://www.grey-bull.co.uk/

There is also the Manor House Hotel
https://www.manorhousehaltwhistle.com/
Getting there
We will be arranging transport between Halwhistle and the funeral. If you need a lift please contact Greta ([email protected]). If you are coming in from elsewhere please also let us know. We might be able to help in other ways (eg: there might be other people arriving in Newcastle needing a lift to Haltwhistle that could share taxis etc).

We extend our deepest sympathies to Leo, Family and Friends.

It is with great sadness to inform you all that one of our beloved regulars Anthony Warren peacefully passed away in his sleep Saturday night.

Anthony was a true gentleman and he’ll be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go to Leo, family and friends at this awful time.
