Well… this is it.

On Thursday evening we all sat down together for one final meal before closing the doors. It gave us the chance to look back on everything we’ve shared over the years and remind ourselves just how lucky we’ve been to have such an amazing team around us.

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to see us on our final day on Wednesday. We were genuinely humbled by the number of people who came through the doors to wish us well. Seeing so many familiar faces and hearing all your kind words meant more to us than you’ll ever know. It was a send off we’ll never forget.

We honestly can’t thank our staff and every single one of you enough. You’ve given us memories we’ll never forget, and we’ll always be grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the years.

So, this is our last post as the Fox & Goose.

It might be the end of this chapter, but it isn’t the end of us. Please keep following this page because we’ll let you know where we end up next. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible.

For now, thank you… for absolutely everything.

We’ve sat here for ages trying to write this, and honestly… we still don’t really know what to say.

Unfortunately, The Fox & Goose will be closing and Wednesday will be our last day, it just doesn’t feel real. We don’t know when the doors will open again, so at the moment it’s a goodbye, and that’s a really hard thing to get our heads around. 🥺

This place has been such a huge part of our lives. It’s not just been a pub to us, it’s been our home. We’ve shared so many laughs, late nights, stressful days, celebrations, and memories with all of you over the years.

To our staff, past and present, we honestly can’t thank you enough. You’ve been there through the good days and the difficult ones, and we’re so proud of the little family we built together. We couldn’t have done any of it without you.

And to every customer who has walked through our doors, whether you came in every day, once a week, or just every now and then, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️. Thank you for supporting us, for chatting at the bar, for bringing your friends and families, and for making this pub what it has been. So many of you have become much more than customers to us.

We’d love to see as many of you as possible before we close on Wednesday, so please pop in and have a drink with us if you can.

This isn’t the end of us though… just the end of this chapter. We’ll be taking a little time, and then hopefully we’ll be seeing you all again somewhere else.
