URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Our Community Shop in Cobham Needs Your Help Now.
We are writing to you today with extremely heavy hearts. The financial figures for the year so far have arrived, and after many challenges (road closures, hiked energy bills, faulty equipment to name a few), the reality is critical. The shop is currently not doing well at all, and without immediate and significant support, we are facing the very real threat of permanent closure.
This shop was created to serve Cobham, but right now, we simply do not have enough community support to keep the doors open. We are fast running out of time and options.
We are making an urgent plea to everyone in the village and all surrounding areas. We need help, and we need it now. Specifically:
Grant Applications: We urgently need someone with experience or expertise in identifying and writing grant applications to help secure funding for the shop. If you have these skills or know someone who does, please get in touch immediately.
Ideas and Solutions: If you can offer practical help with turning things around, and increasing footfall, we want to hear from you.
Use the Shop: If you want a shop in this village, please support it. Every small purchase makes a difference to our survival. This is absolutely vital.
