At the Coffee Barn we're celebrating Bonfire Night on Thursday 5 November from 5pm and you're welcome to join us!
Bonfire Night at the Coffee Barn will be a little bit different to other celebrations locally. It'll be child friendly with no fireworks, no noise and less intensity - a fun celebration and a time for community. And it's FREE!
We'll have a bonfire though, with a Guy, but it will be safely contained on a fire pit. No fireworks, so no loud bangs or bright lights, but we will have sparklers!
Then the Coffee Barn magic happens! You'll also be able to try your hand at making a lantern to take home, test how good you are at Apple Bobbing and toast marshmallows!
If you're feeling peckish there will be jacket potatoes, pizza, hot dogs and toffee apples available, all to be enjoyed with mulled w**e, hot apple c***r or scrummy hot chocolate!

First Sunday Jazz at the Coffee Barn seems to come around quicker than ever! On Sunday 1st November from 4pm, we're chuffed to bits to be welcoming Josh, Neil and Mat, collectively "Joshing About" to Buckminster!
As always, this is a completely free to attend event. As it's proving more and more popular we recommend arriving early if you want the best seats in the house!

It's become a tradition locally to place large poppies on lamp posts in local villages for the fortnight up to and including Remembrance Sunday. It's a very visual reminder of the service, and sacrifice, that many have given over many decades.
We will be supporting the Royal British Legion this year through the purchase poppies for display in and around the Barn. We'd love to see them throughout Buckminster and know that many of you would be keen to see this too.
To this end we are placing an order for more poppies next week and invite you to sponsor one of them, maybe in memory of a relative or friend. The poppies cost £5, are durable and will be reused in future years. If you would like to join us in this act of remembrance you can do so in person at the Coffee Barn or by sending an email to [email protected]
