The social club, like most has been hit by the recession & no smoking ban, but is now making great progress to insure the future is safe for many years to come for members and their families. In our members bar we have a large flat screen television with sports shown whenever available. There is a pool table, dart board, gaming machines and jukebox. We also have a lounge area if you prefer a quiet drink. The club caters for games leagues for men and ladies to participate. We have regular entertainment nights. Membership is available for a small fee.

☀️ END OF SUMMER GET TOGETHER – DRINKS ON THE DECKING! 🍻🎶

What an absolute turnout it was! 🙌

A massive thank you to everyone who turned up and helped make it such a fantastic day. It was brilliant to see so many people enjoying themselves and making the most of the sunshine.

A huge thank you to Kev and Phil, who provided and cooked all the food for the afternoon. 🍔🌭 Also, thank you to everyone who donated towards the food and helped make the day possible.

A special thank you to our main man from the Post Office, Stuart, who booked and organised the event alongside Lesley and a few others. All your hard work and effort is massively appreciated. 👏

🎸 And, of course, a big thank you to the band Happy Hour for coming along and giving us a few fantastic sets. You certainly helped get the afternoon going! 🎶

Finally, a massive thank you to all the bar staff who worked today. You did a brilliant job keeping everyone supplied and looked after throughout the day. 🍻

What a fantastic turnout for Bowls Gala Day 2026! Absolutely brilliant day from start to finish. ☀️

Plenty of laughs, jokes and, I’m sure, a fair few sarcastic comments throughout the day! 😂

A huge thank you to everybody who turned up and helped make it such a great event. The weather was gorgeous, and well done to everyone who took part and battled through that heat! 🥵☀️
