Its the last day of our amd we have a fantastic finish this afternoon with Barbershop Harmony Chorus at 3pm.

We still have plenty of Beer and Cider left, including Harry's Cider Company Scrummage and Corker, both fabtastic fresh still ciders perfect for an afternoon in the pub.

Beer wise a few have run out but there are lots still going dtrong including Castle Brewery Dalleth.

Anothrmer great evening, thanks Off The Wall for providing the entertainment.

Today at the around 3pm, the fantastic Johnny Inder will be here with his fantastic array of songs that you can listen to or join in with.

The beers and ciders are still flowing including Charnwood Brewery - Sundown - a delicious Deep Gold Ale and Orkney Brewery - Sunstone - a beautiful pale ale

In the Ciders, the Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm Flattler never dissapoints with its characteristic bite.

Tomorrow the cracking Cornish Connection will finish the festival at 3pm with their mix of shanties, singalongs and songs so there is still plenty to see.

What a fantastic night gave us with that bluegrass beats.

Beers were selling well last night with Nene Valley Brewery - Egyptian Cream (a wonderfully luscious Milk Stout)
Harry's Cider Company - Haymaker also proved very popular.

Tonight, despite the weather (it is meant to cheer up later) Off The Wall will be making the marquee jump with their blend of 60s, 70s and 80s hits)

We missed yesterday as we were super busy getting ready so today we will habe to give you a little more. So here is your next update.

Another Cornish Ale with Firebrand Brewing Co - Patchwork Rocket - A refreshing 4% Pale Ale that is lip-smackingly good

Two Dogs Brewery - Subliminal Citra - A 4.3% Straw coloured Ale packed with Punchy Citra Hops

Salopian Brewery - The Matter is Closed - An IPA that has a great has tropical fruit aromas and a doughy finish

Our main Cider producer for thos festival is Harry's Cider Company from Somerset and the first two are - Corker at 4.5% and Haymaker at 6%. Perfect for sipping in the afternoon or slugging in the evening.

What about entertainment?
Friday 28th at 8:30 we are going a little bit country with the so put on your boots and your big hats and come down for a boogey.

Getting in just in time with todays update. And we are showcasing the Cornish and local products we have on offer.

Castle Brewery - Dalleth - made with UK hops and Barley this Beer is packed with flavour. Dalleth means begin in Cornish so could this be your first pint?

Tintagel Brewery - Merlin's Muddle - A dark Amber Ale with notes of Citrus and caramel with a refreshing bitterness. At 5.2% it may leave you in a muddle.

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm - Flattler - A 5.5% medium dry cider that is young, light and fruitily refreshing.

We are starting to get ready for our next weekend.

We have a 11 Real Ales, 6 Ciders and quite a few Gins to enjoy. Plus live Music, Great Food and a famtastic setting, so if you are looking for a great place to spend a few hours this ☀️ then look no further.

Green Jack Brewery - Golden Best - A low ABV golden session beer that still has bags of flavour.

- Gone Fishing - from the lowest ABV to the strongest, this 5.5% extra special Bitter is malty, fruity and delicious.

Cider Fans we got you covered to with Sandford Orchards - Blackberry Cider - delicious blackberries, mixed with a tart apple cider for a Brilliant Berry Beverage.

Carnival today and we are so looking forward to the fantastic lost in Space playing from approx 8pm

There is an air of excitement, and much secrecy, bustling through the village as the much anticipated carnival day has arrived.
Children’s sports, and tasty teas on the green this afternoon
Wonderfully conceived Carnival fancy dress . . . still time to put something together . . . or come down to watch!
Judging 6pm - round village parade - flora dance - all to St Austell Town Band
Then dance the evening away to Lost In Space at the Fisherman’s Arms

We had a fantastic time at the Village Fete on Sunday. We wanted to send this special thank you to all the businesses that supported it, locals and people who ran stalls and made delicious cakes and of course all the people who came alomg to enjoy the day.

We are just working out the financials and then we shall let you all know how we did.

Lets talk about food at the Summer Fete tomorrow (Sunday 12th July). We have a fantastic BBQ with special thanks to James Kittow Butcher & Grazier & Caterfood for helping with the costs.

We also have Ice Creams & Ice Pops available courtesy of Roskillys who donated ice cream tubs.

And our villagers have been hard at work baking up a storm for the cake sale and a special Carrot cake being donated by The Quay Bakery

So there is plenty for people to fill their tummies whilst enjoying all the festivities on offer.

Plus we have lots of cold and warm drinks to keep people refreshed. With thanks to
For donating lots of bottles of water.

Its due to be a hot one folks so please bring water with you and plenty of Suncream.

Although dogs are very welcome we would strongly recommend leaving your four legged friends at home where it will be a bit cooler than out in the blazing sun.

Only a few days until Golant's Great Charity Fete on Sunday 12th July and here is the newest game for you. Tiger Woods would enjoy this one as we open Golant's 1st Crazzi Golf course. The two hole course will be there on Sunday for young and old alike to have a go.

Also if you can get a hole in one on both holes, your name will go into a draw for a fantastic Prize.

So grab your suncream and a wide brimmed hat and head on down to Golant on Sunday 12th July to join in in the fundraising fun.
