Tapas times from now until the end of October 🇪🇸

Our final day before we finish for a break will be Saturday 1st November, open 12-3pm.

We will then be reopening from 27th December to 1st January, for your post Christmas tapas fix!

….and just like that it’s September! Wow, what a season this has been, we’ve never known so much sunshine & alfresco tapas! As always we have loved seeing you all; many amigos who we have known since we opened our doors 10 summers ago, gracias. However none of this would be possible without our fun, hardworking & loyal team, you smashed it again! 💋 Thank you also to our fantastic suppliers that help to make it all work.

We are currently still open 12-9 for the next week but will be closed on Sunday 14th & Monday 15th for our usual team shindig 🍾

Trader’s Carnival 2025 WINNERS! Piskie Power 🧚

“The Night before Trader’s Carnival” by Lily Yates

’Twas the night before Traders Carnival, quiet and clear,
When strange little footsteps began to appear.
By the tapas bar, near the dull -lit street,
Caz sipped on alioli, enjoying a treat.
But something was odd—no laughter, no cheer.
The Pintxo Piskies hadn’t shown up this year!
These mischievous sprites, so cheeky and sly,
Usually danced with a twinkle in eye.
“They never miss Carnival,” Caz muttered aloud,
Scanning the tapas bar’s slowly growing crowd.
Just then, a puff of pimenton and spice—
A whisper of magic, a chill cold as ice.
From under a napkin leapt three tiny heads,
Tossing olive pits into tapas bread.
“Where’ve you been?” asked Caz, with a frown and a yawn.
One piskie said, The pony is gone!”
“What pony?” asked Caz, smirking
“The stolen pony!” they said with surprised cries.
“She carried our treasures, our trades, and our tricks—
And now she’s been nicked by a broker named charlie!”
Tapas spilled, and pintxos flew high,
As Caz stood tall with a glint in her eye.
“We’ll track down this rogue, this pony thief bloke—
And make sure he chokes on his own artichoke!”
Through alley and candlelit cobbled old streets,
They followed the scent of grilled garlic and cheats.
To a backroom bazaar with a velvet red curtain,
Where the stolen pony stood, looking uncertain.
“Release her at once!” the Pintxo Piskies cried,
While Caz tossed some alioli right in Chaz’s eye.
The pony neighed loudly, kicked over a chair,
Then galloped to freedom with style and flair.
Back at the tapas bar, glasses were raised,
The pony was safe, the Piskies were praised.
And as Carnival dawned in its glittering glory,
Caz toasted, “To traders, to ponies, and a damn good story!”

Nuevo! Payoyo goats cheese; an exquisite, award winning cheese produced from Andalusian goats in the Sierra de Cadiz mountain range. Cured for 4 months in extra virgin olive oil as well as Oloroso Sherry. A medium hard cheese with incredibly punchy notes!

Think Amontillado vibes but with more intensity. Pungent nutty aromas with a smoky wood background, along with rich flavours of bitter chocolate & chestnuts. A slight sweetness but also a striking tangy acidity. Perfect as both an aperitif or digestif, winner!
