Unfortunately, due to the unpredictable weather forecast, we've made the decision to move tomorrow's June Fest to July.

The good news is that Community Night is still going ahead — we're simply bringing things indoors for the evening.
Join us for relaxed night with the community. We'll be serving up crispy buttermilk fried chicken for the evening.

We've updated our posters with the new July date and can't wait to celebrate properly with you all next month.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support — we'll see you tomorrow for Community Night and again in July for June Fest!🍻

Fancy joining our team at The Black Horse? 👋

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join us front of house at The Black Horse, Cranham.

It’s a part-time role, mainly Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays — perfect for someone local looking for regular weekend work.

We’re a small, close-knit team, pretty easy-going, and we care about good food, good service and creating a proper pub atmosphere. The job will include a bit of everything: bar work, running food, clearing tables, helping customers and keeping service ticking along.

Experience is helpful, but honestly, reliability, common sense and a good attitude matter more.

Pay is National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage according to age, plus TRONC/tips paid on top according to hours worked.
