After a lengthy sabbatical, the Bell Jar Quiz makes a tentative return to test the waters again. Steven back on reluctant but professional hosting duties. Usual oblique and convoluted questions and "entertainment" guaranteed. Still top prize of £60 bar tab to be had. Still 8pm. Still free to enter.

Lots of drinking space where the restaurant used to be. We go again. Just a pub. With a tasty snack menu coming soon. Open all weekend. Probably closed on Monday for some behind the scenes TLC. Don't go chasing waterfalls.

Tears wiped away, we go again as the new Bell Jar (just a bar). Cold and hot drinks from 12pm daily with some luxury bar snacks to be added soon.

But first, thanks to these absolute legends for everything.

No thanks at all to the warmongers and the oligarchs and the governments who are driving hospitality into the grave.

But more on that another time.

Bit emotional in here tonight but a few drinks may be taken later so we'll take the Monday off to recover.

Thanks to all who attended the kitchen's last supper over the weekend. Natasha and the boys have been utterly incredible and professional throughout this difficult period and this last menu has been an utter belter. They will always be a massive part of The Bell Jar family.

The Bell Jar is officially just a pub as of Tuesday 12pm. We go again.

Keep an eye out here for what we do next but for now, all hail The Bell Jar Kitchen 2018-2026 RIP
