On Thursday 1st October, the Classic Grand becomes a gateway to another world as Swedish ambient electronic pioneers Carbon Based Lifeforms bring their immersive sound to Glasgow.

For almost three decades, Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid have been creating music where earth meets space — lush ambient textures, hypnotic rhythms, organic sounds and deep electronic landscapes that feel as expansive as they are intimate.

From Hydroponic Garden and World of Sleepers through to Interloper, Derelicts and Seeker, CBL have built a sound that doesn’t simply sit in the background — it pulls you completely into its atmosphere.

And this Glasgow show promises something particularly special, with a bespoke laser show designed for the Classic Grand, adding another dimension to their already cinematic live experience.

Expect an evening of hypnotic electronica, cosmic soundscapes and immersive visuals — a chance to step away from the everyday and disappear into the CBL universe for a few hours.
