Get to know: Make A Dance

Breathe bring the titular tastemakers for a Glasgow and Sub Club est. 1987 debut.

Ben Lewis and Josh Ludlow have carved out their own corner of the underground with a sound spanning classic house, exotic edits, weird B-sides and proper party records.

Since starting the project in 2020, they’ve played Panorama Bar, Fabric, DC10, Circoloco, Glastonbury, We Out Here, Love International and Gottwood, alongside shows across Europe, Australia, Asia, the UAE and USA.

Regulars across BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and NTS, with releases through their own M.A.D Records and M.A.D Edits imprints, they’ve picked up support from the likes of Optimo, Palms Trax, Laurent Garnier, Seth Troxler, Bradley Zero, Moxie and more.

Breathe: Make A Dance.

Sub Club debut, Glasgow.

Friday October 23rd

+ Elk (Curated wax) and Peacock

We have a familiar face in Peacock returning to the Breathe fold, making the trip up from Newcastle to spin some heat in her old Glasgow haunt. We also have Elk from curated wax joining the lineup, pulling deep from his record collection for a sonic experience behind the sub club booth.
