"Poetry in motion." — BBC

How do we move through the games of modern life?
In love, we negotiate trust and fidelity. On the pitch, we chase victory through unity, rhythm, and fierce rivalry. In the cut-throat corporate world, we race against the clock to make our mark.

Join us on Wednesday, 4th November at 7:30 PM as Universal Hall hosts Play Ball, a spellbinding triple bill of classical Indian dance presented by the acclaimed Srishti – Nina Rajarani Dance Creations.

Conceived and choreographed by Nina Rajarani MBE—featuring live original music composed and performed by Y Yadavan—this production brings an all-female ensemble to the stage in a showcase of breathtaking speed, emotion, and footwork. The evening includes Quick!, the sensational piece that won Europe’s prestigious Place Prize.

Whether you are a longtime lover of classical Indian dance or looking to experience something fresh, vibrant, and deeply moving, Play Ball will sweep you off your feet.

🎫Tickets available online or in person at the Phoenix Shop, Findhorn and available on the door. Visit our website for details. Universal Hall Co UK.

Still processing last night.
A packed-out Universal Hall, a queue trailing out the door, and an audience held completely silent from the very first breath. The Tailor of Inverness isn’t just theatre—it is a masterclass in truth, memory, and raw storytelling.

Matthew Zajac weaves his father’s unbelievable life story with so much heart, pain, and brilliance that you simply cannot look away. It’s rare for a performance to stay in your chest long after the lights come up, but this one does.

If you missed tonight’s show, please don't let it pass you by next time. Independent theatre companies like Dogstar need our ongoing support to keep making work like this—signing up for their newsletter and showing up for their future shows makes all the difference. Dogstartheatre co uk
