🍽️ An Update From Ye Olde Red Horse
As we head into the quieter winter months, we've made the difficult decision to temporarily close our kitchen Monday to Saturday, with our traditional Sunday roasts continuing as normal! 🍖
Like many independent pubs across the country, we're facing increasing pressure from rising operating costs, higher wages and further increases to the National Minimum Wage.
We fully support fair pay for hardworking hospitality staff, but the reality is that these increases, alongside rising food, energy and supplier costs, make it increasingly difficult to operate a kitchen sustainably during quieter periods.
Rather than compromise on quality or significantly increase our prices, we've decided to focus our food offering on what we do best: a proper Sunday roast!
🍺 Our pub remains open as normal throughout the week.
🎤 Our quizzes, live music, karaoke and other events will continue.
🍖 Sunday lunches will remain a firm fixture.
🛏️ Our accommodation remains open as usual.
This isn't goodbye to our kitchen. It's a sensible decision to protect the long-term future of our pub, our team and everything we're building here at Ye Olde Red Horse.
We're incredibly grateful for the continued support of our customers and local community.
