Pubs are at the heart of our communities!

From creating jobs to bringing people together, pubs play a huge role in everyday life across the UK. But right now, the sector is facing real challenges - with rising energy bills, food costs, employment costs and business rates all piling on pressure.

On top of that, hospitality has one of the highest VAT rates in Europe at 20%.

That’s why the industry is backing the VAT’s The Problem campaign - calling for a fairer 10% VAT rate for hospitality.

We’re asking our licensees, teams and customers to support the campaign by signing the petition

This is about protecting pubs, the people behind them, and the communities they serve — from bar staff and chefs to brewers and farmers.
