The EGHAM USC is sad to announce the passing of long-time member Brian Clare. Brian lived most of his life in Egham and grew up in the Compasses, Pooley Green when his parents ran it after it was rebuilt in 1930.
Brian passed away on Saturday 30th May 2026.
Condolences to his wife Margaret and his family.

Live music this Saturday evening from 8.45pm

Sam Kelly's Station House is a blues-based groove & funk band with a unique sound that is influenced by New Orleans Second Line, soul, jazz and British funk.
Making a very welcome return to the club after 10 years!!

Led by internationally acclaimed, award-winning drummer Sam Kelly who has worked with Chaka Khan, Dr John, Ben E. King, Robert Plant, The Foundations, Billy Ocean, Desmond Dekker, Stan Webb, Gary Moore, Paul Jones, Imelda May, Robben Ford, Andy Fairweather Low and Chris Barber … to name but a few!

The group’s line-up also features Richard Sadler on bass, Tony Qunta on guitar, and Rowena Poole delivering dynamic lead vocals.

Tonights live music :
OFF THE RAILS – professional 4 Piece band consisting of experienced musicians with many years of gigging across the world.

With two guitars, bass & drums, the members came together after a re-shuffle of 3 successful local bands: Nitetrain, The Danny Mono Band and the Ed Hudson Band.
Four vocal harmonies are a major feature of the band, and this sets them apart from other 4-piece acts.

Expect to hear songs by The Who, Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Small Faces, Kinks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, U2, REM, Travelling Wilburys, The Eagles and many more!
