This August, we’re bringing the Fringe down to The Shore 🎶🏖️

From 4 – 29 August, Fringe at Nobles will fill the pub with folk, trad, singer-songwriters, open mics and late-night sessions, with plenty of free music and a handful of £12 ticketed gigs.

On Tuesday nights, we’ll be hosting some brilliant Scotland-based folk and acoustic artists, including Jack Badcock and Andrew Waite, Kirsteen Harvey and Lewis McLaughlin, Hector Shaw with Fraser Fifield & Graeme Stephen, and Stewart Hardy & Frank McLaughlin with Fell Line.

There’ll also be free Shore Trad Sessions every Wednesday at 8pm, plus late-night sessions on Fridays and Saturdays at 11pm, led by Lewis and Frank McLaughlin “plus the coolest musicians they can convince to come and jam with them.”

Expect polished performances, spontaneous late-night magic, established names, emerging voices and the kind of communal music-making that belongs at the heart of Edinburgh in August.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱

Bellfield Brewery is looking for an experienced, flexible and hands-on Venue Manager to lead 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱.

Nobles is an iconic pub with real character, and we want to build on everything that makes it special: a warm welcome, great beer, high-quality seasonal food and a memorable pub experience.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, understands food-led pubs and knows how to lead a team, grow trade and create atmosphere.

The role is about more than running the day-to-day. We’re looking for someone who can help develop events, tastings, beer-and-food pairings, private hire, seasonal offers and local partnerships.

You’ll manage Nobles as a distinct venue while working closely with the wider Bellfield team, including the brewery, taproom, kitchen, marketing and events teams.

We’re looking for someone who can:
• Lead and develop a great front-of-house team;
• Deliver excellent customer service;
• Champion Bellfield beers and high-quality seasonal food;
• Manage day-to-day operations, standards, stock, rotas and costs;
• Be flexible, practical and hands-on;
• Create and deliver ideas to grow revenue;
• Develop events, tastings, private hire and collaborations;
• Help shape the next chapter of a much-loved venue.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and agreed responsibilities.

To apply, send your CV and a short note to [email protected] with “𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” in the subject line.
