After a great deal of thought, we've made the decision to sell our beloved bar, Mara.
This hasn't been an easy choice. From the day we opened, we've been able to create a space about more than the wine - we've loved the people, conversations, and feeling like we're genuinely part of the neighbourhood.
The support we've received from our customers, suppliers, and the community has meant everything to us.
An unexpected opportunity arose that felt right for us personally and professionally. After a lot of reflection, we decided it was the right moment to step back and let this chapter come to a close.
This decision will also allow us to focus our time and energy on our existing venues, while creating space for future projects we're excited to explore.
We're incredibly proud of what we've built at Mara and deeply grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a glass with us, and helped make this place what it is.
The venue will be closed until the new owners are ready to open. We will be contacting all bookings and ticket holders in due course.
