Today is a sad day at The Blackbird, we bid farewell to an absolute all-timer, Queen of the Floor, Master of the Garden, W**e Connoisseur Lorna ✨

Always giving 100% no matter what, bringing her wit, warmth and looking fab while doing it, there’s definitely going to be a Lorna shaped hole in our venue and our hearts 😭

Our loss is London’s gain, though we’re super proud of her for grabbing this opportunity, and know she’ll be an absolute star ⭐

For a little while there, this place was an absolute state…

We had paint all over the walls, equipment taking up every bit of space it could find and signs being worked on while we tried to figure out where everything was supposed to go. It was messy, but that’s what happens when you decide to give the place a proper glow up.

A lot of hard work went into getting her looking the way she does now, and we’re pretty bloody happy with how it turned out.

If you haven’t been in to see the new look yet, we’re waiting for you. Come have a nosey, grab a drink and make yourself at home!🧡

We’ve added loads of new dishes, mixed up the drinks list, and with the King’s Theatre finally back open, it felt like the right time to launch a pre-theatre menu too.
