🌞 It’s going to be a warm over the weekend for you campers, caravans, and motorhomes! 🌞

Don’t forget to check your fridge vents and make sure they’re clear of obstructions to allow plenty of airflow through the cooling system. Keep the vents clean and unrestricted, and your fridge should perform well even in the warmer weather.

❄️ As a general guide, running your fridge at around 2–3 bars or 2–3 lights is usually sufficient to keep everything cool. Turning it up to maximum isn’t always the answer and can sometimes reduce efficiency.

✅ Keep the vents clear
✅ Allow good airflow behind the fridge
✅ Pre-cool the fridge before your trip
✅ Avoid overloading it with warm food and drinks

We are still seeing people on campsites leaving their mains hook-up cables coiled up, like one we saw today.

Please remember: always fully unwind your cable before use and make sure it is connected properly.

When connecting to electric hook-up, plug into your caravan or motorhome first, then connect to the campsite power supply.

A coiled cable can overheat, and a loose or poorly connected cable can be dangerous. Stay safe and enjoy your adventures! ⚡🚐

Today, Lee connected the Truma Diagnostic Tool to a motorhome’s Combi boiler after a fault was reported. 👨‍🔧💻

The boiler had stored fault codes and locked itself out. As Truma Service Partners, we’re able to connect directly to the system, identify the stored errors, clear the fault history, and reset the boiler, allowing it to operate normally again. ✅

Manufacturer-approved diagnostics can often save a lot of time and guesswork when tracking down faults. 👍
