🍎🍺 Celebrating 30 Years of Our Cider Festival! 🍺🍎
On Saturday 20th June 2026, we are proud to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our family Cider Festival.
Back in 1996, my dad started what was then a small gathering in the pub garden, with just a handful of cider barrels and around 50 people enjoying a drink together. Thirty years later, thanks to the incredible support of our local community, friends and family, the festival has grown into something truly special.
Over the years we've welcomed hundreds of people, featured more than 20 different ciders, and transformed our car park into a live music venue with our famous lorry stage. What began as a simple idea has become a much-loved annual tradition.
As my dad's daughter, I feel incredibly proud to be carrying on what he started. It's a real family effort and takes months of planning and preparation. I couldn't do it without the amazing support of my family, close friends, volunteers, and sponsors, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen.
This year we have a fantastic line-up of solo singers, live bands and a DJ to round off the evening so we can dance the night away together.
We'd also like to thank all our local residents for their continued support over the years. As a small gesture of appreciation, we'll once again be delivering vouchers for a free pint.
A huge thank you also goes to our sponsors, whose support helps us provide the sound and lighting that make the day such a success.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who has attended, supported, performed, sponsored, volunteered, or simply spread the word over the last 30 years. You've helped turn a small gathering into a fantastic community event, and for that we are truly grateful.
