JOB OPPORTUNITY: EXPERIENCED BAR TENDER / DUTY MANAGER

The Black Horse in Willington is looking for an experienced, reliable and friendly Bar Tender / Duty Manager to join our growing team.
We are a busy, community-focused pub with live entertainment, food events and accommodation, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The Role
Bar service and customer care
Opening and closing duties
Cash handling and stock awareness
Supporting the day-to-day running of the pub
Assisting with management responsibilities when required
Opportunity to help manage our B&B accommodation
Weekend and evening work essential
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years hospitality/bar experience preferred
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Clean, organised and hard-working
Polite, professional and approachable
Comfortable dealing with customers and busy periods
Reliable and trustworthy
Passion for the pub and hospitality industry
Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week
Flexibility required, including weekends
