The Red Lion The Red Lion was originally a farm, then in the late 1700's it became a Drovers Inn. In the Bar we have a wide and varied selection of Cask Ales.

The Red Lion was originally a farm, then in the late 1700's it became a Drovers Inn and was used by farmers to water and rest themselves and their stock on the journey to Bishop Auckland mart. We pride ourselves on a very high standard of cellar management which guarantees you the perfect pint. We also serve a variety of keg beers, draught lagers, wines and spirits Cocktails, alcohol free beers and a range of soft drinks.
