An update on our platter bookings 🍖

Tonight we’ve had to throw away over £70 worth of food after a takeaway order wasn’t collected.

Our platters take hours of preparation and slow smoking, with days often stretching to 14–16 hours getting everything ready. Seeing that food and hard work go in the bin is heartbreaking, and the cost has a real impact on our small family business.

We’ve avoided asking for payment upfront until now, but unfortunately we need to make a change.

🥡 Takeaway platters: Full payment is required when ordering, by bank transfer (BACS) or card over the phone. An online payment portal will be available soon.

🍽️ Eating in: A £15 deposit is required when booking to reserve your platter, deducted from your final bill. (This only applies to our Smash & Smoke Platters)

We understand plans can change—please let us know as early as possible.

Tomorrow is our first day back doing roast dinners, and we’ve got a few little extra bits lined up along the way!

This weekend, we’re starting off with the choice of 1, 2 or 3 meat roasts, as well as a brand-new sharing platter roast dinner for two!
