The Riverside Inn is set deep in the countryside of Herefordshire, yet still close to Ludlow and Hereford. Authentic and atmospheric, this 16th century black and white building is surrounded by the natural beauty of the River Lugg. Inside The Riverside Inn bar and restaurant, the surrounds are unspoiled and unchanged, with log fires, candles, hops and pine. We aim to surprise and please you with o

ur food, offering classic flavours in a country style with original touches that make quite a difference. We source from Herefordshire and Shropshire farms, producing and cooking everything ourselves, except for the deliberately short list of interesting cheeses, which are bought locally. Andrew and his team pride themselves creating traditional Marches flavours from developing a real “field to plate” culture, through the use of our extensive gardens and orchards.

Looking for something interesting to do this weekend.

There will be a talk about the artist Elizabeth Jane Woodhouse 1813-1874 who lived opposite the Riverside at Yatton court for most of her life.

Elizabeth was an independent minded woman whose work reflects the intellectual curiosity of the Victorian period, interests that later influenced the restoration of Aymestrey Church in the 1880s

It will be at Aymestrey church on Friday the 22nd of may at 2pm

Pop in to the Riverside afterwards and come and have a refreshing drink.

A big thank you to all of our guests for continuing to support our Community Donation fund.

Ledbury Primary received £710 from our fund to develop an allotment and outdoor kitchen in order for their students to gain experiencing growing and cooking their own food - might have some of them working with us one day!

GLASS PATH

Here at The Riverside we go above and beyond to be as sustainable as possible.

All the glass that we use from wine bottles to soft drinks gets recycled in our onsite glass crusher.

We then use it on our walk way up to the spa to help make the path suitable for walking on in slippery conditions.
