It wouldn’t be our annual village fete day without some beer garden gatherings… From 12pm on Saturday 13th our Tipi doors will be open, serving our BBQ inspired menu, pouring thirst quenching pints of Estrella & Damm Lemon & shaking up a cocktail storm… Come enjoy a truly British summer day with us ☀️

Sundays have just got bigger & better! Introducing Sundays at The Tipi in partnership with from the 28th June till 30th August. You can expect our signature BBQ plates, tantalizing burgers plus our garden roast & returning Yorkie burger! It’s the perfect setting for those lazy summer lunches…

The Kids’ Tables will be on hand from 12-4pm to host supervised crafts, activities & games in the Tilbury Tipi, making sure your littl’uns are entertained in between courses. This is a free service, exclusively for our Tipi customers. Min age 3 years.

Enjoy summer inspired dishes like whipped feta & watermelon salad & mussel & scallop roe fregola or more hearty plates like our confit chicken scrumpet & BBQ salad & potato waffle, beans & egg. Then who can forget desserts – we’ve got our eyes on British strawberries & cream – delicious!

Seared scallops, sweetcorn puree, bacon & sweetcorn sauce vierge

The flavour of sweetcorn really elevates the sweet characteristics of the scallop, whilst the addition of bacon to the sauce vierge balances the sweet & savoury flavours of the dish. It’s a big hit with our guests. Have you tried it yet?
