Celebrating the Life of Susan Hennan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Hennan, affectionately known to so many as Suzi-Blue, who passed away aged 62 years young after battling with MND.
A devoted and much-loved wife to Darren, treasured mum to Karl and Demi, and adored Nanna to Mason. A beloved sister to Michael, Malcolm, Sandra, Shirley and Mark, a cherished sister-in-law to Fiona, a much-loved auntie to many, and a dearly loved aunty to Diane, with whom she shared a bond more like that of sisters.
Susan was truly one of a kind. She had the most infectious laugh, a heart full of kindness, and a way of making everyone feel welcome. She was a ray of sunshine whose warmth, humour and caring nature touched the lives of so many. Whether through her quick wit, generous spirit, or simply being there when someone needed her, she left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Family meant everything to Susan. She was immensely proud of her children and grandson and loved them beyond measure. She and Darren shared almost 38 wonderful years of marriage, built on love, laughter and unwavering devotion to one another.
She never truly realised just how loved she was, but the countless lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind will ensure she is never forgotten.
Susan will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all her family and friends.
The funeral service will take place at St Cuthbert’s Church, Darwen (BB3 1QJ) on Friday 19th June at 12:00pm, followed by interment at Darwen Cemetery.
Following the service, all family and friends are warmly invited to join the family in celebrating Susan’s life at Hollins Grove Conservative Club & Function Room, Darwen (BB3 1QJ).
Floral tributes are welcome.
As pink was Susan’s favourite colour, those attending are invited to wear a touch of pink in her memory if they wish.
“62 years young, forever our ray of sunshine.”
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.
