Dartmouth's best Cocktail Bar! Fabulous cocktails, delicious wines, cool beers, great tunes, & live music with a chilled out atmosphere.

Great music is essential to creating the perfect atmosphere and central to the Bar 1620 experience, we take it very seriously, with regular house DJs, live music, funk, jazz and an eclectic mix. You’ll be absolutely mesmerised by our mirror balls and for some reason they always make you want to move your feet…. well maybe just a little!

We also have a late serving license so we can make your perfect night even longer, as we are able to open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

We will be delivering our best service as always today…

We have live entertainment at 8pm this evening
One of our favourite performers will be setting up his White Baby Grand Piano on the 1620 Main Stage tonight
Ed Jones (AKA Elton John) has promised to entertain our crowd with his brilliant performance, come early to ensure you get in, we always get busy when Ed’s with us!

We know the weather is not our friend, but it is really inspiring to see everyone involved with this weekend’s Festival - soldiering on and doing their best to ensure our visitors enjoy their time discovering Dartmouth…

We’re ready for Food Festival later this week and our exciting plans for your Entertainment over the event is as follows:

Thursday 22nd of October - open 3pm
Our usual offering of #1 Cocktails, a great selection of Fizz, carefully chosen Beers/Ciders/Fine Wines & unique Spirits are all available for you to enjoy
Eclectic Background Music all in an edgy cool environment

Friday 23rd of October - 8pm
The very cool Martin Dale Jazz Trio makes a welcome return to the 1620 Stage @ 8pm, the Festival visitors always enjoy this ‘Ronnie Scott’s’ style of performance from Martin and his Musicians

Saturday 24th of October - 8.30pm
The uber-popular Ed Jones has promised to grace us with his ‘An evening with Elton & ‘Foodie Friends’ repertoire on the Main Stage this Saturday night
Ed and his Pearl White Baby Grand Piano is always guaranteed to entertain beyond the call of duty

Sunday 25th of October - 4pm
Our Sunday afternoon Headline act is an absolute banger!
The extremely talented and popular Music Maestro - Mr Vince Lee will take over 1620 with his ‘Big Combo’ for another one of his critically acclaimed Rhythm & Blues Masterpieces - this is one not to be missed!

Our outside Waterfront Terrace will be open today for all our customers who would like to enjoy the last of the Indian Summer we are currently enjoying…

And of course - our Indoor Cocktail Lounge and Club will be offering it’s usual array of Cocktails, Fizz, Wines, Spirits & Ice Cold Beers or Ciders

Our early evening Pre-Dinner drinks and eclectic background music session is from 5-8pm

At 9pm DJ Owen (and a popular Guest) will fire up the Decks for one of our legendary Dance Music nights for all ages
