THURSDAY 11TH JUNE — THIRSTY THURSDAY!
Pints of the Week for only £5 — this week it’s Henry Westons Vintage Cider & Staropramen. Two absolute bangers. Open from 3pm, hot food from 5pm. Happy Hours 3–5pm & 9–10pm. Come on in!

FRIDAY 12TH JUNE — LIVE MUSIC WITH AMBER JADE SMITH
Open from 3pm, food from 5pm & live music from the talented Amber Jade Smith from 7pm. The perfect Friday night sorted.

SATURDAY 13TH JUNE — OPEN FROM MIDDAY
Our gorgeous Saturday lunch menu from 12pm–4pm, toasties, pizzas, burrata, halloumi fries & more. Then straight into our evening menu from 5pm. Long lazy sunny Saturday at the Loft? Yes please!

🎵 FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE SAIL LOFT — JOANNA COOKE LIVE! 🎵

If you were at Dart Music Festival recently, you already know. And if you weren’t, tomorrow tonight is your second chance & you absolutely cannot miss it.

Joanna Cooke takes the stage at The Sail Loft Dartmouth tomorrow night (Friday) from 7pm & we could not be more excited to welcome her back through our doors.

A critically acclaimed British singer-songwriter from the West Country, Joanna’s soulful blend of blues, jazz & raw honest songwriting has won her fans everywhere she plays, including Motown legend Martha Reeves herself, who called her “the baby girl singing the blues.” When Martha Reeves says that about you, you know you’re something special.

She absolutely lit up the main stage at the Dart Music Festival & the reception she got was something else. Warm, powerful, utterly captivating, the kind of artist that stops a room.

Come and see for yourself this Friday, get here early to grab a good spot, & make the most of our Happy Hours 3pm to 5pm & 9pm to 10pm, and we will be serving our new summer menu from 5pm.

Summer has well and truly landed at The Sail Loft & we are absolutely ready for it.

New menus, live music, longer hours, yes, we are now open on WEDNESDAYS too! Here’s what’s on this week…

OUR BRAND NEW SUMMER MENUS ARE HERE!
We’ve been busy in the kitchen & Freya has absolutely delivered. Our new evening menu is live with gorgeous new pizzas & fresh salads think prawn & asparagus, goat’s cheese with roasted red peppers, Greek side salad with feta & citrus dressing… plus all the Sail Loft classics you know & love. And our Saturday lunch menu has brilliant new toasties joining the line-up — Chimichurri, Caprese & more. Come hungry!

We’re celebrating a wedding with some very special people, so we’ll be firmly closed on Saturday this week. Sorry! We’ll make it up to you next week.

THE SAIL LOFT IS TURNING 5 THIS THURSDAY AND WE ARE READY TO CELEBRATE!
Five whole years of this beautiful, historic building on Foss Street being YOUR place, your Friday nights, your lazy Saturday lunches, your impromptu midweek drinks & your dance floor moments. Every single one of you has made The Sail Loft what it is & we couldn’t be more grateful.
(Yes, that IS Rupert peering through the gates. Five years in & he’s still this excited to open up. We reckon he might actually be Dartmouth’s hidden gem himself… don’t tell him we said that!)

🎶 What. A. Weekend. 🎶

Dart Music Festival 2026 - you absolutely smashed it, Dartmouth. We are still buzzing (& possibly still ringing slightly in the ears) from one of the best weekends we’ve had at The Sail Loft Dartmouth.

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who came through our doors to eat, drink, and be very merry with us. Watching this town come alive the way it does every year for DMF is genuinely one of our favourite things.

And what a lineup we got to host! Huge thanks to our incredible musicians: Milo Griffiths, Lost Natives, Ruby Bea, Bella Cutts, James Davies, Oktober, DJ Show Pony, Dominic James, CHLO. You all brought the absolute magic. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

To the DMF committee and volunteers, the unsung heroes who make this whole thing happen year after year, we see you & we appreciate you more than we can say. To our brilliant Sail Loft Crew who kept the drinks flowing, the plates going out, and the smiles on, we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

And to our amazing customers… locals, visitors, regulars, & first-timers, thank you so much for choosing to spend your festival weekend with us.

Finally Monday, we were truly honoured to welcome so many local people, family, & dear friends to Justin’s wake. It was an absolute privilege to host everyone, & a real reminder of just what an amazing community Dartmouth is, & what it means to us.

We are now officially exhausted, but we are throwing our doors open again tomorrow, and the forecast is looking like ☀️☀️☀️ for the week ahead. Come find us in the sun & make the most of our sunny courtyard & suntrap balcony.

One of our absolute favourite weekends of the entire year is nearly HERE. The Dart Music Festival is BACK and The Sail Loft is ready!

🎶 Three days of incredible live music, brilliant food & good times, & tucked away at the end of Foss Street we are your perfect festival base camp. Here’s everything you need to know…

THURSDAY 14TH MAY
We are open as normal from 3pm, serving hot & cold drinks, Freya’s fresh bakes, & Rupes “Tuck Shop” with hot food being served from 5pm. Let’s start the w/e early!

🎸 DART MUSIC FESTIVAL — FRIDAY 15TH TO SUNDAY 17TH MAY
We’re open daily from 11am all weekend so whether you’re here for the music, the food, the drinks or all 3 we’ve got you completely covered.

🍕 🥪🍔 THE FOOD — because this weekend is NOT just about the music!
From 11am every day we’re serving up a seriously delicious festival food menu. Think breakfast baps & Bloody Marys to kick things off right, toasties & tequila (or tea, no judgement ☕), pizzas & Pimms, burgers & bubbly… honestly whatever you fancy, we’ve got it. Eat in, or grab it as a takeaway & go catch a set. Fuel up & go again

GOOD TO KNOW — BOOKING INFO
Breakfast & brunch is walk-in only so no booking needed, served upstairs, downstairs & as takeaway. For our festival menu, downstairs is walk-in but if you want a guaranteed upstairs table, booking is essential. A £40 deposit is required to secure your spot. 72-hour cancellation policy applies & please be punctual as tables are held for 15 minutes only. Book online today.

SATURDAY SPRITZ BAR — OUTDOORS 3–5PM
On Saturday afternoon we’re taking things outside with our special Sail Loft Spritz Bar. Two spritzes for £15 in the sunshine with festival sounds all around you. Yes please!

Open from 3pm, hot food from 5pm, and from 7pm the brilliant Luke Potter takes the stage. Luke is the real deal, a Sony & Ultra Records artist, songwriter & producer who has worked with Grammy winners and platinum-selling producers across the UK, USA and Scandinavia. He’s collaborated with music icons, released albums & singles across multiple genres & is one half of the acclaimed Starlight Alice project. Catch him live, this one is special.

🥂 SATURDAY 9TH MAY — OPEN FROM MIDDAY 🥗
All the weekend vibes from 12pm. Saturday lunch menu till 4pm, then pizzas, sliders & bites into the evening. Slow it down, soak it up & enjoy every bit of it!
