A week today (Tuesday 22nd September) is our last official The Crewe Arms Hotel BIKERS night of the 2026 season, we have loved having you with us this summer and it would be great to see as many of you as possible. Please spread the word!

Today we sent out three of our Community Carveries to three amazing humans who’d been nominated by you lovely lot.

And helping us make it happen was Charlie.

If you haven’t been in for a carvery yet, you might not have had the pleasure of meeting him. Charlie is here 12pm - 3pm every Saturday and Sunday, carving the meat, serving up lunches and generally being an all-round lovely lad.

A massive thank you to everyone who sent us nominations. We love being able to do these little things for people in our community who deserve a bit of kindness. And while Charlie might be the handsome face you see carving your dinner, there’s a whole team working away behind the scenes who don’t always get seen or thanked. - We couldn’t do any of it without you.

So thank you to our team, thank you to everyone who nominated someone, and thank you to everyone who comes through our doors and supports what we do.

Three dinners delivered today. Hopefully three people reminded that somebody was thinking about them.

On a different note... it's BINGO night at 8pm this Thursday. There are only 9 keys left in the box with over £450 in. Play your cards right is a £26 roll over. BINGO PRIZES totalled over £350 last time. You have to be in it to win it.

IT'S COMMUNITY CARVERY TIME AGAIN!

We’re delighted to share that, to date, we have now given away 22 community carveries to people in our local community.

We have some spare food today, so we’d love to brighten someone’s day once again.

Do you know someone who deserves a free carvery?

An elderly neighbour, an unpaid carer, someone going through a difficult time, or simply someone who always puts others first?

Nominate them in the comments or send us a private message and we’ll choose one deserving person or family and deliver a freshly cooked carvery completely FREE of charge.

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, he has headlined major clubs across the UK and international festivals, performing in destinations ranging from Edinburgh and Melbourne to Myanmar. Next stop... Madeley!

We’ve got 95 plates loaded into the plate warmer ready for our Sunday Carvery and we’ve sneaked in five random blue plates made by the famous Burslem potters - Woods.

If your Sunday Carvery is served on one of the five blue Woods plates, you’ve won yourself a FREE DESSERT VOUCHER!

And for those who know their pottery there’s one extra-special plate hiding among them… the Woods Turkey Plate. If you get the Turkey plate you win a FREE CARVERY VOUCHER which you can claim any Saturday or Sunday.

Something new is coming to The Crewe Arms Hotel ...

On Wednesday 23rd September we’re launching The Crewe Arms Sessions with Joel Ramble & Friends.

It’s part open mic, part jam night, and hopefully a place where local musicians, singers, poets and performers can get together and see what happens.

You don’t need to be in a band. You don’t need loads of experience. And you definitely don’t need to be a professional.

Come and play a couple of songs. Bring your mates and play together. Turn up on your own and have a jam with Joel and the other musicians. Sing, play, perform some poetry or spoken word – or just come down for a drink and watch.

All ages and all abilities are genuinely welcome.

If you’ve never performed in front of people before, this is for you too. And if you played years ago and fancy dusting off the guitar and having another go, we’d love to see you.

For our first Sessions we’re also really pleased to have Nick Degg Poet joining us as our special guest poet.

BANK CARD FOUND – PLEASE SHARE

Someone who joined us for a meal this evening @ The Crewe Arms Hotel has accidentally left their bank card behind on the table.
