Can you believe we're already halfway through 2026? Where has the time gone?! 😲

The days are getting longer, the weather is finally picking up, and those good-vibes-only summer evenings are rolling in. What better way to kick off June than with live music at The Golden Cross?

Join us this Saturday from 9pm–11pm as we welcome Robbie Denver to The Golden Cross stage.

Robbie has never played here before, so let's give him the warm Golden Cross welcome we're known for. We pride ourselves on having one of the best, friendliest and most supportive crowds around, and we'd love to see a packed pub showing him what we're all about.

Live music will be here every Saturday throughout June, so this is the perfect way to start the month!

Thank you for this great post!! Yes that's right! Our kitchen is completely safe for Coeliacs!! We also have some gluten free drinks available too!! We're also a dog friendly pub, as long as your dogs are friendly too 😉

Silverside are back with us this weekend on Saturday playing great live music from 9pm-11pm.

The weather will be glorious through the weekend. Our beer garden is waiting for you.

We're a dog friendly pub so pop in and keep hydrated with your fur babies. Please ask for bowl of water for your dogs if we don't notice them with you. We are normally pretty good at spotting when you come in with a dog as we love dogs here! ☺️

The Bank Holiday is here!!!!

As it's Bank Holiday Weekend, we just want to remind you that we have shorter opening hours on Monday. The bar will be open from 11.30am to 6pm and the kitchen will be open from 12pm straight through to 4pm.

Our pub garden will surely be in good use the whole weekend.

Keep that sun lotion topped up to stay safe if you're in the sun and keep hydrated however you choose to spend your 3 day weekend!

We all hope you enjoy the sunshine this weekend. It's going to be a HOT one!!

Looking for something different to do in Coventry?

Come and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple whilst creating your own piece of art bottle at your local pub The Golden Cross on Wednesday 20th May 7pm - 9pm. It's a great night out with friends or solo doing something different and making memories.
Anyone can sip and paint. You don't have to be experienced to have fun. If you can hold a paintbrush, you've already got the skills you need. There's no wrong way to make art. It's more about having fun!
You're given an empty spirit bottle and guided through some painting skills. At the end of the evening, you'll have your own painted bottle to keep. Everything else you need will be provided.
£30 per person. Food is not included in your ticket but your first drink is free up to the value of £5. Tickets are non-refundable.
