Glasto 2024 wrap-up — Big Boxpub thanks as ever to our incredible crew, partners, friends and punters for putting together such a feelgood week.

This year we and our partners and raised almost £8k (inc gift aid) for our two charities and 🥳

Thank you to .d.silva.31 and everyone else — not to mention & for having us.

🇺🇦 Delighted to say thanks to your kind donations we made £894.13 cash for Ukraine campaign this weekend. 🇺🇦 PLUS however much the online donations for those without cash that were made directly to the campaign, which were not insignificant in number.

Of course we couldn’t have done it without who donated AND delivered all 24 kegs of beer for it (and to paraphrase many of our punters “the best god damn pint on the whole site”. Thank you so much & Laurence who made that happen.

Plus of course our hosts who kept the good times rolling from the get go in true style. What a lineup 🎪 and huge thanks to their ever mega team too.

Then there’s our heavy-ass Boxpub crew — the mighty Luke, Chloe, Mitch, Shanice, Jed, Isobel, Colin and everyone else who jumped in to pour a few.

Last but wholly not least, the Methodist in the Madness Michael Eavis, & . It truly was the best one yet — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us be part of it. The hugely uplifting feeling of joy and fellowship was so very needed, still taking time to process, and hugely needed 🤍

Our Story

It’s not everyday you get to build your dream pub.

Four old schoolmates from Dorset have turned a vintage 1984 Bedford TL horsebox truck into theirs – serving craft ales and ciders, fizz and cocktails…just about anywhere.

And now their loyal group of locals is growing fast – at weddings, private parties and festivals big and small.

Unlike other mobile bars, up to thirty people can stand aboard The Draught Horse, revelling in the cheering hospitality that only a good pub can provide.
