Wow …. What a first few days we’ve had 😅
Just want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone that came and for the kindness and support we received.
Was definitely a “wing it weekend” due to having no staff yet 😱. Thankfully troops are in their way !!
But really just want to express our gratitude for such a warm welcome.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Due to electrical gremlins we will only be able to offer a slightly limited menu today, but there is something to suit everyone 😋
The beer is ready, the wine is cold, the ice is stacked and the new coffee machine fitted, so all ready to give you a warm welcome

Reopening Thursday 20th, 11am.

Unfortunately our planned opening day was disrupted by a later than scheduled delivery 😟
But we look forward to welcoming you all on Thursday.

Today is the day that we hand back our keys to The Kings Arms North Street - ready for the pub to start its new chapter with new tenants and a new team. 🔑

Today is a sad day for us all as we look back over the last 2 and a half years with pride at what we achieved in reopening this amazing traditional pub that means a lot to us and to the people of Wareham.🩵

Renovating and relaunching the Kings Arms was a HUGE challenge and a lot of hard work but it was a great success and we are very proud that we are handing over not just a ready made business but a wonderful environment to the new team.

So please have a little look at the photos below - the befores and afters of what we found on our first viewing - compared to what we made the place into and a few of the many good times we had!

We will miss the KA - and we wish the new tenants all the luck in the world for their next adventure! 🍀

In the meantime we will be fully concentrating on The Horse and Groom and continuing to make it the home from home that you all know and love so much! 🩵

She is moving onto pastures new with her DREAM JOB!! 🩷

Lyd has been with us at the Groom and the Kings FOREVER and has worked so hard over years… she’s been the smiley face of The Kings and we couldn’t have done it without her!!

I speak for all of the team at both pubs and all of our customers when I say that we will miss you terribly!! And wish you all the luck in the world for your new adventures!! 🍀
