Christmas Day at The Greyhound is officially fully booked! 🎄

In fact, we've been sold out for a little while now, but we're still getting lots of lovely enquiries from families, couples and groups of friends hoping to spend Christmas Day with us.

So we've opened a waiting list!

We know plans can change (especially at Christmas!), so if a table becomes available, we would love to be able to offer it to someone who's been hoping to join us.

Think low beams, cosy corners, Christmas decorations, a lovely festive atmosphere and a four-course Christmas lunch with all your favourite people around the table. And the best bit? No spending hours in the kitchen cooking or washing up!

They're back by popular demand! 🎄🎶

Mad Melodies are returning to The Greyhound for Carols & Christmas Classics Under the Castle, and if you've been to one of their evenings before, you'll know just how much fun they are!

We'll be getting everyone into the Christmas spirit with plenty of singing, festive favourites and a lovely atmosphere in our garden, with Corfe Castle as the backdrop.

And we'll have plenty to keep you warm and fed too! Think hog roast, hot chocolates, mulled w**e, mince pies and lots of other festive treats. The menu for the event will be online shortly.

There are two dates to choose from (or join us for both!):

🎄 Saturday 19th December, 7pm

Both evenings are completely FREE to attend, but you'll need to pre-book your place in the garden.

So round up your family and friends, wrap up warm and come and enjoy a good old-fashioned Christmas singalong with us.

Flying Scotsman in Corfe Castle - Final Day!🚂

Looking for one last family day out before half term ends?

This Sunday (1st November) is your last chance to see the world-famous Flying Scotsman at the Swanage Railway, and it'll be passing right through Corfe Castle!

It's not every day you get to see such an iconic steam train, especially with the castle ruins as a backdrop.

So why not make a day of it? Bring the family, enjoy the steam train and a wander around our lovely village, then pop into The Greyhound for a cosy Sunday roast.

We've got a children's roast menu too, plus unlimited Yorkshire puddings and bottomless gravy to keep everyone happy!

Half-term plans? We've got a few ideas! 👀

Corfe Castle is a great place to bring the family for a day out. There's the castle to explore, the steam trains and the Flying Scotsman to see and plenty of lovely walks if you fancy getting everyone out for some fresh air.

And when everyone's hungry (or the parents need a sit down!), you know where to find us. We sit beneath the castle ruins.... don't forget to tag us in your castle selfies, as we are the most photographed pub in England!

We've got plenty of family favourites, a kids' menu and even doggie chicken and treats for the dogs.

Half term can be busy in Corfe, especially with the Flying Scotsman visiting, so we recommend booking your table ahead of time.

Choo choo!!! 🚂 There's going to be a VERY special visitor to Corfe Castle this October!

The famous Flying Scotsman is coming to the Swanage Railway to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and it'll be passing right through Corfe Castle station, with the castle ruins as its backdrop.

If you're planning a trip to see this magnificent steam train, why not make a day of it and pop into The Greyhound for a bite to eat or a drink while you're here?

We'll be serving all your pub favourites, with plenty of cosy spots to relax in. Our menu is available to view on our website.

The Flying Scotsman will be running on 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th October and 1st November, so we're expecting Corfe Castle to be buzzing!
