The pub opens at 12pm daily and sometimes we close earlier in the evenings so please give us a call to check we're open. Food is currently served from
Monday - Sunday 12pm - 2pm then 6pm - 8.45pm

Today’s roasts are lamb, pork, beef and nut roast. Served from 12.30 until sold out. Booking recommended to guarantee a delicious roast. Our full range of starters, desserts and kids meals are on too. All our produce is local and made fresh on site every day.

We now have a defibrillator at the Ship. Please spread the word for locals and visitors if the worst was ever to happen to use it then people are aware there is one in this area of Coniston. ! Thanks so much to Coniston Parish council for providing this and teaming up to get it fitted with us. This is something we always wanted since we got the pub a few years ago and we are proud it’s here ❤️

We are looking for a bar person to cover around 20 hours a week.
Extra shifts are available if wanted. Experience preferred but not essential.
Full training provided working in a friendly team.
Competitive rate of pay including staff meals.
Most shifts will be working in the day time opening up but occasional evenings required if possible. We are very flexible.
