🍽️ APPARENTLY IT WAS “THE WORST ROAST THEY’D EVER HAD”… 😜 🍽️

Well… you can’t please everyone! 😂

But with 200+ Sunday roasts regularly leaving The Castlefields kitchen, plenty of empty plates coming back, and lots of lovely customers returning week after week, we’ll keep doing what we’re doing. ❤️

So, there’s only really one way to settle it…
Come and try one for yourself and make your own mind up! 😜

This Sunday our kitchen will once again be busy roasting, basting, crisping and pouring plenty of proper gravy. 👨‍🍳🔥

Our new Head Chef and kitchen team have been working incredibly hard, and Sunday is quickly becoming one of our favourite days of the week.

We’re delighted to finally share our Christmas Day Menu for 2026! ❤️

Join us at The Castlefields for A Herefordshire Christmas Day Feast — traditional festive favourites alongside some very special dishes from our kitchen.

🎅 Friday 25th December 2026
🍽️ £74.95 per adult
🎄 £49.95 per child under 12
💳 £30 per person deposit required to secure your table

Our menu includes five starters, four main courses and four desserts, followed by tea, coffee & mince pies.

From 28-day aged Sirloin of Herefordshire Beef and Bronzed Herefordshire Turkey with all the festive trimmings, to Herb-Crusted Hake and our Truffled Artichoke, Winter Kale & Lentil Wellington, there’s something for everyone.
We also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.

🐾 Bringing your four-legged family member? We have a limited number of dog-friendly tables available in our bar, including tables beside our cosy log burner.

Christmas Day availability is limited and pre-booking is essential, so we would recommend getting in touch early if you’d like to spend Christmas Day with us.

🌳 The Castlefields is a beautiful Countryside Pub & Restaurant, open every day from 11:30am, offering delicious homecooked meals served daily between 12-9pm.

We are family friendly and have a fantastic children’s play area for the little ones to enjoy, we also welcome dogs to our bar area our outdoor terrace 🐕

💦 An interesting fact about The Castlefields is we have a medieval well located inside that is truly a unique feature 🏰 and definitely a talking point
