The Bull’s Head is a traditional drovers inn – a place to eat, drink and (soon) sleep.

A reminder that this Wednesday will see the start of our Wednesday night winter changes.

On these evenings, we'll be serving drinks and a selection of bar snacks only. Come down, grab a drink, have a game, and settle in by the fire with some delicious food and good company.

The pub will be open from 3pm - 11pm. Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you 👋

A reminder that this week during half term, things will be a little different here at The Bull's Head.

From Wednesday 28th–Saturday 31st October we’ll be open our usual hours, but instead of our usual lunch and dinner service, we’ll be keeping things relaxed with drinks, bar snacks and cosy pub vibes.

Think charcuterie, bread, olives, croquettes and plenty to enjoy alongside a drink.

Families and locals are very welcome, so come and settle in for a bite, a drink and some time together.

We're hosting a Pub Quiz here at The Bull's Head on Friday 30th October at 7pm.

Bring your team, of up to 4 people, order a cold drink and some snacks and get your heads together for a chance at winning an £80 tab behind the bar 🙌🏽🍺

The joining fee is £5 per team and we request that every team is seated by 6.45pm for a prompt start

Here's the menu for our next lunch club on Thursday 5th November

For the main course this Lunch Club you'll find Braised Hogget Belly. Hogget is meat from a sheep that has lived between one and two years. Because our sheep are raised with minimal intervention, they take longer to reach maturity, just as nature intended.

Once far more common than it is today, hogget is prized for its rich, deeper flavour than lamb, while remaining more tender and buttery than mutton.
