Our cliff top terrace comfortably seats 100 and the views are arguably the best in the country, if not the world! During the summer months we serve a great selection of fresh fish & shellfish caught from West Bay and Weymouth, and lobsters straight from our beach! In winter, the emphasis changes to hearty stews, slow cooked meats and watching the storm waves crash in with the comfort of our roaring wood burner. So whether you're after a light bite, a full on lunch or dinner, or just a pint or two, then The Anchor Inn at Seatown is the place for you!!

What a summer we've had!

Wall to wall sunshine for weeks and what felt like an endless summer. Thanks to everyone who's joined us to enjoy all Seatown has to offer.

Unfortunately, our current glorious weather, looks like it may not last.

We would suggest anyone visiting over the bank holiday weekend to book a table via our website or the OpenTable app as we have very limited space inside.

If you're joining us without a reservation and the weather turns, please be patient with the team and we will do our best to get everyone in we can as we have around 250 seats outside and 40 inside.

Fingers crossed for squeezing one last sunny weekend in though🤞

It's that time of the year again.

This Wednesday, August 12th, from 430pm we will be hosting our annual RNLI charity BBQ and beach events.

Seatown Slice will stop serving pizzas for the evening, there will be a BBQ on our driveway with burgers and hot dogs available to take away to the beach or eat in the pub cliff garden. All profits from that and beach car park go to the charity.

The road will be closed with games and live sea shanty singers, lots of action for all the family for an exceptional cause.

Summer opening times update ☀️

From this week until September, we are going to open our doors a little later.

We'll be sitting tables and taking bookings for food up to 830pm and closing at 1030pm.

We look forward to seeing you all.. and your four legged friends.

It’s an exciting time to join our award winning team as we head into the summer period. We are looking for a passionate and energetic person who enjoys the hustle and bustle of a busy service and takes pride in what they do.

We have both a seasonal and long term position available with the role including great tips, staff feeding and the likelihood of a suntan.

We are so delighted and humbled to have been awarded an AA rosette. The Anchor team work tirelessly to produce great quality food and provide a memorable guest experience – whether you are joining us for a winter Sunday roast or a summertime pint and pizza with a view.

This recognition was a great surprise to us all, but a testament to years of hard work, our wonderful local suppliers but most importantly our incredible team.

This Sunday, 19th April, will be our last before they return in the autumn.

Get yourself down for one last hurrah, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and all the trimmings.
