A quiet place to retreat to during Goodwood Revival.

With the world’s most spectacular historic motor racing event taking place this weekend, there’ll be plenty of excitement over at Goodwood.

If you’re heading our way, The Horse & Groom is close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to feel like a proper escape.

Autumn evenings at the Horse & Groom 🍂

As the countryside settles into autumn and the evenings begin to draw in, our much-loved monthly Pub Quiz & Bingo evenings are returning to the Horse & Groom.

A little friendly competition, a few familiar faces and all the pleasures of an evening well spent at the pub.

Our first Pub Quiz returns on Sunday 11th October from 5–7pm. It’s £2 per person to enter and we can’t wait to see you there.

Bingo was such a hit in spring that we’re bringing it back. Save the date and join us on Sunday 25th October from 5–7pm. It’s £2 per sheet.

So start planning your team, bring your best general knowledge and save the dates for two lovely evenings in October.

Three days of vintage motorsport, glamour and nostalgia, transporting you back to the golden era of British racing, from 1948 to 1966.

And just moments from the action, the Horse & Groom offers a rather lovely place to retreat to. Settle in for a long lunch or cosy dinner in the West Sussex countryside, with seasonal plates, something good in your glass and plenty of time to slow down.

Marcus Wareing is coming to The Horse & Groom on Thursday 15th October.

One of Britain’s most respected Michelin-starred chefs and restaurateurs, and the author of ten cookbooks, Marcus will be joining our Head Chef, Luke Cockram, for an exceptional one-night-only dining experience.

Together, they’ll bring you a menu inspired by classical French cooking, seasonal ingredients and Marcus’s culinary journey.

Our newsletter subscribers have been given first option to request tables, so the first opportunity to experience this very special evening is already underway.
