Come Dine with Del Boy & Friends is coming to The Anchor on Saturday 4th July from 7pm for an evening of laughter, entertainment and great food.

Join us for a fun-filled night inspired by some of Britain’s best-loved comedy characters, complete with a delicious carvery dinner, dessert and a glass of red or white wine included.

£25 per person

Due to limited availability, booking is essential. Payment can be taken securely over the phone, or you are welcome to pop into the pub to book in person. We would always recommend calling ahead before visiting to check availability in case the event has sold out.

Thank you to everyone who came in yesterday to collect their onions for this year’s Onion Growing Competition at The Anchor, Sidlesham!

For those taking part for the first time, this much-loved annual tradition is held in memory of our wonderful local regular, Dave “The Dog”, and has become a fantastic community event that so many look forward to each year.

Now the challenge begins… nurture them, feed them, talk to them if you must… and bring them back in late September for the official weigh-in! The grower of the heaviest onion will take home the trophy and have their name engraved for bragging rights.

Even better, all proceeds from entries go to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice, making it a competition for a truly great cause.
