Nestled in the heart of Chesterfield, Bottle and Thyme offers a cosy and relaxed meeting place to enjoy time with your favourite people over a plate of delicious rustic style food. Serving breakfast through to evening meals, our chefs use top quality, seasonal, fresh produce to rustle up a fantastic locally sourced menu. Whether you fancy a cup of coffee, a a glass of wine, craft beer or a choice of our botanical infused cocktails, our extensive drinks menu offers it all. Bottle and Thyme hosts a variety of exciting events and is the home to live acoustic music every week. We love to hear from new and upcoming local artists who share our love of music. We are passionate about working with local businneses and suppliers. Our fruit and vegetables are sourced from the local market, our speciality coffee beans are roasted just around the corner and your coffee mug has been hand crafted just a few streets away. Come and see us for yourself!

We get asked ALL the time about the name on the menu and those bright orange yolks 🍳 Read on for the reasons we love Cackleberry Farm and why we’ve been using them in our favourite dishes for years.

1. THAT YOLK! CackleBean eggs are famous for their deep yolk colour and rich flavour.
3. We LOVE the ethos behind Cackleberry Farm. A family-run business, passionate about producing the very best eggs through traditional, sustainable and high-welfare farming.
2. Happy hens. The girls are raised in small flocks, giving them plenty of space and a low-stress life, helping them lay the highest-quality eggs.
4. Good ingredients make all the difference. They’re celebrated by chefs all over the country (for good reason) and, once you’ve tried them, it’s hard to go back!

Available 9-12pm Mon-Sat, 9-3 for all day Sunday brunch.

We are so excited to announce this year’s wreath workshops ✨

We look forward to these every year! A cosy couple of hours creating in our Glassroom with the most beautiful foliage and blooms, making your own unique wreath entirely from scratch.

£67 pp - includes a glass of arrival English sparkling, festive canapés and all materials and equipment. Festive cocktails, homemade mulled w**e and delicious Christmas sandwiches available to order on the day.
