A Difficult Goodbye 💔
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we have to share some very sad news with you all.
After over 6 wonderful years of serving our amazing customers, Darwin & Bear will sadly be closing its doors. Our final day of trading will be Saturday 5th September.
This is a decision we never imagined having to make, and one that has absolutely devastated us. Unfortunately, the ever-rising costs from both central government and local authorities, alongside the increasing costs of running a small independent business, have reached a point that we simply cannot keep up with.
We have fought incredibly hard to keep going, but sadly, we can no longer continue.
Darwin & Bear has been so much more than just a business to us. For over six years, we have had the privilege of welcoming you through our doors, celebrating your birthdays, special occasions, family meals, date nights and countless other memories. We have watched so many of you grow and become regular faces, and we genuinely cannot thank you enough for supporting us throughout the years.
We are absolutely heartbroken that this is where our journey has to end.
For anyone who currently has a booking with us, we will be contacting you directly in the next few days. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message us through this page — we will still be here and replying to messages as normal.
Any deposits held against future bookings will, of course, be fully refunded.
Most importantly, we want to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who has visited us, supported us, recommended us, left us reviews, celebrated with us and helped make Darwin & Bear what it has been over the past six years.
We couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️
We would love nothing more than to see as many of you as possible before we close, so please come and say goodbye and help us make these final days ones to remember.
