Next up for our W**e & Cheese Night…

Bartlett’s Butchers Extra Mature Cheddar paired with a rich, full-bodied Malbec.

The deep blackberry and plum flavours of the Malbec, along with its smooth tannins and touch of spice, are a brilliant match for the strong, sharp and savoury character of an extra mature cheddar.

A big cheese deserves a big w**e — and this pairing certainly delivers.

This week the spotlight is being taken by our most popular dish, the Crispy Beef Salad!

Our Crispy Beef Salad brings together tender, crispy beef with fresh salad, a sweet chilli sauce and roasted cashew nuts for plenty of crunch, colour and flavour.

We’ll be bringing together five w**es and five carefully matched cheeses, with each pairing chosen to bring out the best in both.

A few of the pairings have already been revealed, with more still to come before the night itself.

Quicke’s Hard Cheddar paired with Vega Tinto Rioja, Spain.

The Rioja brings ripe red fruit, subtle oak and a gentle touch of spice, with smooth tannins and a savoury finish that works beautifully alongside the rich, nutty character of Quicke’s aged cheddar.
