MARCH at Steamin’: trumpeter and BBC Young Jazz Musician finalist Klara Devlin with her quartet, inspired by bebop, blues and contemporary jazz 🎺

Trumpeter Klara Devlin’s quartet was formed through the pioneering programme of Tomorrow’s Warriors. "I’ve never been this excited about a young musician" - Tony Kofi

Rising star jazz trumpeter Klara Devlin was a 2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician finalist, currently studying jazz at the Royal Academy of Music. She began playing trumpet at five and discovered jazz at eight. Her quartet, formed through Tomorrow’s Warriors, performs her original compositions and arrangements inspired by bebop, blues and contemporary jazz.

The Klara Devlin Quartet has appeared at Jazz In The Round, Pizza Express Soho, JazzLive at the Crypt, and at the Brick Lane, We Out Here, and Brecon Jazz festivals.
