I'm pretty sure there used to be a bar here????
Its been an emotional week, watching something you have poured your heart and soul into these last 8 years being ripped out but as with life itself, you cant stand still while everyone else is moving forward and that is exactly what we plan to do, move forward with pace!
The carpets are gone, walls are prepped, and there's plenty of dust, hard work and excitement behind the scenes.
It's amazing to see the transformation already taking shape, and this is only the beginning!
While The Black Bull Chelmsford may be getting a fresh new look, one thing that will never change is who we are, the people behind it and the people who support it.
As many of you know, we're a family-run pub, and that's something we're incredibly proud of. Our children have grown up around The Black Bull, who many of you will know, and some now actually work within the business.
We've watched children grow up celebrating birthdays here, held so many celebrations, fantastic themed children's parties, live music nights, welcomed families back year after year, and made so many friends along the way.
The refurbishment will give The Black Bull a fresh new look, but it's you, our regulars, our party families, our customers and our community, that make this place what it is.
Without your support, laughter and memories, it's just a building.
We can't wait to welcome you all back and start making the next chapter of memories together.
