🌟💗 STAFF OF THE WEEK – TASHA O’CONNOR! 💗🌟

This week, we’re celebrating our wonderful Tasha O’Connor, who has been part of the CRS family for almost 7 years! 🥳👏

Tasha is passionate about providing person-centred support, ensuring every client is treated as an individual and receives the care and support that meets their own needs, wishes and interests. 💙

When we asked Tasha what she loves most about the people she supports, her answer says it all! She loves their fantastic sense of humour, their kindness and how much fun they have together. 🥰😂

🎉 A few fun facts about Tasha!
📚 She loves reading crime fiction.
🐱 She has 4 children and 6½ cats! Yes, you read that right! One has even moved in with the lady three doors down and only pops home for visits! 😂🐾
🎹 She can play the piano.
📸 She was once a teenage model featured in Bella magazine!
🪄 And if money were no object, she’d love to take a Harry Potter fan to Universal Studios — and any other client who wanted to join the magical adventure! 🏰✨

Tasha’s favourite place to support clients is our Social Hub, where she loves seeing everyone having fun, making friends and enjoying activities together. 💕🎨

Outside of work, Tasha enjoys spending time with her family, meeting her sisters for breakfast, reading a good book and occasionally enjoying a peaceful night away with her husband! ❤️

LK enjoyed an extra‑special hot chocolate while out on their support session ☕ – just look how incredible it looks! It’s safe to say the whole office is feeling very jealous seeing this delicious treat! 😋

✨ Monday Support Outing ✨

MC and JF had such a wonderful time together on their regular Monday support session! 💛

Their support worker Lorraine makes sure both people get a fair say in planning their day, giving equal space to what each of them enjoys. This week’s outing blended fun Halloween‑themed picks and early Christmas shopping! It was lovely seeing MC and JF both smiling happily – and we even caught Lorraine joining in the fun too! 🥰

🎨🖌️ A CREATIVE DAY OUT IN SITTINGBOURNE! 🖌️🎨

Our clients and staff had a wonderful day out this week in Sittingbourne, getting creative and painting their very own pottery! 🏺🎨

Alongside all the painting, there was also time to enjoy a lovely spot of refreshment, plenty of laughter and lots of socialising with friends. ☕😊

Everyone had such a fantastic time that they’re already talking about booking another visit to paint some more! We think that says it all! ❤️

At Carers Relief Services (CRS), we love being able to offer our clients a wide range of activities within the community. Whether it’s getting creative, enjoying a day out or simply spending time with friends, these experiences help build confidence, encourage independence and create wonderful memories.

🎉 The Three Amigos Are Back! 🎉

MC and MCo have enjoyed another fun-filled day out in the community! 🥰

Their support worker has been off, so it was lovely to see the Three Amigos back together again, causing a little havoc, sharing plenty of laughs and wearing the biggest smiles! 😂❤️

It’s moments like these that make community support so special. It’s not just about getting out and about; it’s about friendships, shared experiences, building confidence and creating wonderful memories together.

And with the trio reunited, we can already feel the Christmas excitement building! 🎄🎅✨

JW had a fantastic day out at Chatham Historic Dockyard with his support worker! 😊

JW loves exploring the history and memorabilia right here in our local town, taking the time to look around and enjoy everything the dockyard has to offer.

🌟💙 MEET OUR CRS STAR OF THE WEEK – JULIE OWEN! 💙🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Julie! 🥰

Julie has been part of the CRS family for a year and absolutely loves what she does. Her passion for person-centred support shines through in everything she does, helping the people we support enjoy new experiences, build confidence and live life their way. 💙

For Julie, it’s all about recognising that everyone is an individual, with their own needs, wishes, interests and goals. She believes in building trusting relationships, promoting independence and treating everyone with patience, understanding and dignity. ✨

Outside of work, Julie is a busy mum of two, enjoys walking her two dogs, playing netball, Clubbercise and relaxing with her favourite soaps and TV dramas! 🐶🏐💃

And here’s a fun fact… Julie appeared on a children’s TV show many years ago! 📺👀 We wonder which one!
